I have a 1997 pontiac firebird trans am with 82,XXX original miles it was purchased from the original owner who owned it since new she lived on the beach in California so the car has very minor surface rust in passenger door jam . The car has all maintenance records and every receipt for work that was done to the car since 1997 so yes it has a paper trail on what has been done to the car from 97 till now and all maintenance were done when they were suppose to be it also has the original keys and dealer window sticker. The car is mechanically sound and drives great. The engine starts up every time and the automatic transmission shifts the way it’s suppose to. There was posi traction installed in the rear end and have receipts for that oil pressure sensor needs to be replaced oil is always full but sometimes the low oil light comes on and off vehicle does not burn oil. The interior is super clean no rips or tears in the seats they almost look brand new. The only flaws in the interior is the ash tray is broken, the dash has about 2 noticeable cracks “in pictures” one interior mirror cap broke off on the driver side and there is no sun visors the brackets are there though . The radio has been changed to alpine Bluetooth and also have a viper alarm and LoJack. The exterior is pretty clean for its age it’s the original paint the rear bumper has some fade in some areas “in pictures” and the hood has some cracks in the ram air area “in pictures” other than that the paint is pretty clean. A/c works but could probably use a recharge worked good enough for me. Heater gets somewhat warm but should be hotter. The car has a clean title and is registered in my name i don’t have the title yet but it is coming but is taking longer to receive than usual due to Covid but whoever purchase the car will receive the pink slip so we will work something out if i don’t have it by the time the auction end!
