  • Condition: very old but in good shape besides the strings being very tangled. Overall nice otherwise with small age wear like some holes in felt shoes. the hat has come unglued but that's en easy fix. please see all photos for the best description.

    Description

    I purchased this paper mache marionette at an estate, so unfortunately I don't have any background on it.  I wish I did, I 'd like to know what character this is.  The marionette is  approx 21" long or tall. I can feel his torso and legs are made of paper mache and wire.  While lifting up the shirt in the back I found some of the newsprint, unpainted.
    His condition is old but I think good.  The strings are a tangled mess and will need to be worked out or restrung.
    His face has a surface crack near the lip/chin on one side.  His felt shoes have little holes maybe moth?
