Offered at auction from a local South Florida Estate,  is  TRULY  a  Unique  " One of a Kind " CUSTOM  MADE  ( ADAPTED )  " VINTAGE  WHIMSICAL   CLASSIC  CA"T" S   CAR  SOFA / BED !!  It Originally was a " DEPARTMENT  56 "  " CLASSIC  CARS "  1950's  Ornaments  Display Store Fixture  used by Dept 56 Retailers in the 1990's.  It was  Adapted  over Ten Years ago into a CUSTOM  MADE  CAT   SOFA  or BED. It has been kept covered in a Climate Controlled Storage Facility Shortly after being made.  It's Plush Fabric and Feather Trimmed Pillows  make it a Whimsical Seuss-Like  decorative Piece for ANY CAT LOVER'S Home !!
Overall, it Measures 38" in Length.  It is 15" Deep and 28" Tall.  The  INSET  SOFA Itself, Measures  24" in Length. EXCELLENT  VINTAGE  CONDITION:   ** NOTE **  THIS  is  an ORIGINAL  1990's  DEPT 56  " CLASSIC  CARS "  Ornaments  STORE  DISPLAY  Fixture.  It was CUSTOM MADE  into  a  LUXURY  " CAT "  SOFA  BED.  ** NOTE Original Display Sign has been altered from caRs to " caTs ". Also Sign is Now  NOT removable from Top.   There is One Break in the Molding Around the Left Tail Light.  There are  Some Scuffs to the Silver Bumper on One Side. Each Side has a Dark Scuff Mark which could be Either Cleaned or Repainted. .  The Bumper Could be Touched Up or Repainted.  95% of this Piece is NEAR  MINT  Condition !! The Custom Upholstered Sofa and Pillows are in MINT CONDITION with No Stains, No Tears, No Holes.
Although this would Fit a Small Cat or Kitten, it is Largely a " Statement Piece "  and  Decorative. ( Cat Lovers WILL  KNOW  " What " we Mean ! ) :)
