Hungarian Army Camouflaged Shelter Tent, Zeltbahn, Poncho, WWII Similar

Description

This is an army shelter tent section for the Hungarian Army, similar in style and function to the WWII German shelter tent section, or zeltbahn. Besides buttoning together with other soldiers sections to form a tent, it was also designed to be worn as a poncho. It has sleeve slits which button close, and an interior method to tie/button it around the shoulders, to form a closed poncho. All aluminum buttons and grommets appear to be present, and in good condition. The style and camouflage pattern is similar to the WWII version carried by the Royal Hungarian Army, when allied with Germany. The overall shape is unique, as it's not square/rectangle, nor triangular like the German version, but is quite large. WWII versions are hard to come by, and expensive, so this can make a reasonable stand-in. Examine all the photos, and ask questions, as this is being sold as is.
