MUNCHEN RARE Vintage Cigarette Lighter Bakelite/Wheels

A840. O.K. we’ve all done it!! We put RARE beside the description of an item and then go on eBay as see about a dozen just like it. But this time I think it’s different, I really think this is a RARE hard to find vintage cigarette lighter. It is signed---“MUCHEN, GES-GESCH”. It has a top and wheels that appear to be made of aluminum or some sort of metal I am not sure what it is. The top screws off and the wheels are permanently attached and they roll around like wheels should. The lighter looks like it has not been used. The cotton stuffing in the bottom of the well looks clean and unused and appears to be the original old type cotton stuffing and the wick has not been burned. The colorful shield with two standing lions under the word MUCHEN is in very good condition and the entire shield is there and in good color, but the outer edge of the silver rim just beyond the shield has a bad spot on it. My pictures will show this, and this is the only damage to the lighter short of a few dots of worn or rust spots. You can trust my pictures as to its condition. The other side of the lighter which has the bright colorful man in the robe is in very good condition. The body of the lighter is perhaps made of
bakelite or black onyx or something similar in composition. It is a very hard substance and it is heavy for its size. I will put my guess on Bakelite but I can not say for sure what it is made of. This lighter is in very good condition, the flaws that my pictures show in my opinion are minor. If any one has information about this lighter and can tell me what it is suppose to be! It has wheels!! It would just be so much fun to know about it. Thank you for looking and please visit my other vintage lighters in my store collectibles.
