Nakamichi RX-202 Cassette Deck UDAR
Reconditioned & in Great Working and Cosmetic Condition
The smallest of the 3 UDAR decks Nakamichi produced, this RX202 is complete, in great cosmetic shape, fully cleaned, everything working perfectly (no miss on reverse, no button delay, as all is aligned and lubricated properly). Heads and idler rollers in good shape, all cleaned and recondition. Belts were replaced.
Frontface in almost perfect shape with no wear on labels (few tinny edge chips cannot really see or take a photo of). Top cover is also in great shape, with very few minor and hard to notice scrapes. Cosmetics are 8/10 on this deck.
Perfect playback deck with great sound due to Nak magic and the UDAR system, plus with 2 heads, it has great compatibility with all other decks on playback and recording. The UDAR is not only great for consistent sound on both tape sides, but it will wow anybody watching - it is a good show and a conversation piece.
To avoid loss or damage to the clear cassette door shield (about 6 RX202 on sale now lost those shields due to damages !) it was mounted permanently to the bottom part. For adjusting the head every few years, one removes the whole front door by unscrewing two front screws in 10 seconds (see photo 5).
