    Pilot Custom 845
Pilot Custom 845 that is Pilot's highest masterpiece. It might be a form that attracts a lot of fans with the distinctive character that a trunk axis on which the ebonite that began to be plane piles up and is painted as many as three times with a black lacquer.
The feeling is indeed different from the fountain pen made of the resin, and as for the black lacquer paint, it is glossy and touch is different. Characters of 'URUSHI' being written in the cap are not Italy. It is known to all over the world that the lacquer paint painted the lacquer soon for the discoloration prevention of the ebonite after the roadside trees factory that is pilot's antecedent establishes by the start as a lacquering fountain pen to which the decoration and the design are given now.
The cap and barrel are coated in multiple layers of rich black urushi lacquer, which creates a stunning shine, nearly a glow-like surface to the pen. The pen features a huge Size #15 nib, that Pilot has never made available outside of Japan. The Iridium tip is from Pilot's own Iridium mine in Hokkaido, Japan, which Pilot-Namiki has been using since the 1920's. The nib is 18K yellow gold with the center being plated with 18K Rhodium (better known as White Gold) This creates a wonderful two-tone, silver & gold feel to the nib.
