Description
Freshly serviced and given a clean bill of health by John at Northwest Audio.Β The belts are all good and not in need of replacement.Β The heads have been cleaned and demagnetized and the bias checked/adjusted to be within spec.Β This baby runs quiet as a mouse and sounds absolutely phenomenal, this is serious audiophile-quality sound!Β Aside from the obvious missing push button and broken mic line post, it's in incredible cosmetic condition.Β The aluminum looks brand new with no visible scratching aside from two very tiny hairlines on the stop/eject lever that is only visible if looking very closely.Β It's clean as a whistle and has a beautiful showroom shine!Β The missing pieces can be replaced by the buyer if so inclined but the unit is still fully functional without them.Β The wood grain metal case shows some light markings on the top but is still in great shape.Β The plastic viewing window shows light surface scratching but nothing a quick once-over with some scratch remover wouldn't solve.Β Other than these listed fixable discrepancies, it's hard to find one of these in this good of condition!Marantz 5020
