Toshiba Satellite 440CDT/1.4, Pentium 133Mhz, 48MB RAM, Win95.  Despite its age, it's still surprising fast--unlike modern computers which slow down after age.   And it's very reliable--not prone to crashing.  But, it doesn't have all the modern ports that new computers have.

Steno Cat 4.1 with hardware key (no monthly or yearly subscription).  Hardware key is a special parallel port device that contains a security code that gives you access to the steno software program.

*Warning:  This security key for Steno Cat is under license to the original purchaser.  If you call Stenograph for support, they might send you a letter terminating the license and demand that you send in the software key.  Also, Stenograph ended official support many, many years ago. I prefer this system go to a veteran stenographer who has experience with this software.
Warning 2:  The security key works only in the original parallel port of an older laptop or computer--like the Toshiba laptop I'm selling it with.  This key will not work on newer computers through USB adapters.
Warning 3:  The Toshiba laptop has a parallel printer port, no USB ports.  Only a few companies still make printers with a parallel port.  Brother HLL5000D is one such printer, https://www.brother-usa.com/products/hll5000d.  Often high end office machines still possess parallel ports but not many home/office printers do.
If it doesn't sell in 30 days, I may consider selling the steno machine separate from computer & Cat software.  Please, I would like to know if the separation would be preferred.
