Vintage AKAI Cassette Deck GXC-310D For Parts or Repair

Description

Akai GXC-310D stereo cassette deck with Dolby B noise reduction as well as a glass & X'Tal ferrite head.
Made in Japan and first sold in 1975.  See specs in last picture.
The cabinet and face plates are in excellent condition.
Both VU meters operate and light up. Original owners manual is included.
Play, FF, Rewind, Eject operate for a few seconds but then stop.  I did not test the record, headphone or MIC functions.
Its specs state that t
he Dolby-B system lowers tape hiss of recorded tapes from this unit by up to 10 dB.
Belts definitely need to be replaced, unit will need service to operate and therefore is being sold as is. No returns.
