Vintage Handmade Puppet
Fantasy Character
"PURPLE HOODED ELF"
This Handmade Puppet is about 18 inches tall. There are no strings or place to put your hand inside, so I assume this is a stick controlled puppet, though no stick is included. He sure is a cute little fuzzy headed elf. Or gnome. Or whatever. With that wild hair, purple nose, big eyes, open mouth, little boots... you can tell he is a character that is just as likely to cause trouble as he is to get into it. Great for use in a show, or would be adorable just sitting in a display.
Estate find. The wife was a professional puppeteer, her husband was a magician. I am selling just a sample of their life-long collection/creation of puppets, marionettes, and puppetry books (magic stuff is already gone). Condition is as pictured, some may have minor wear and soil or dust. All of her puppets were definitely used over the years in countless shows, but were also taken care of. Judge for yourself. Condition on all is good enough to actually use again, or to create a fabulous display.
Will be packed carefully. Insurance and a tracking number will be provided.
