Vintage/Antique 1940's Stenograph Stenographic Machine W/Case Law Grad Gift

Thisi s a beautiful machine. Very art-deco-y. It is a little dusty. It is from an estate on the Main Line outside of Philadelphia. Please see pictures. I wish I knew something about this machine but I do not. This was made in Chicago.
